Electrification Initiatives

JBR Partners, Inc. is committed to supporting the transition to cleaner, more sustainable communities through electrification outreach and public engagement. We work with utility providers, public agencies, and community organizations to educate residents and businesses about clean energy programs, electric transportation, and available incentives that make electrification more accessible.

Our experience includes planning and promoting EV Ride & Drive events, where community members can explore electric vehicles firsthand and learn about ownership incentives, charging options, and the benefits of driving electric. We also support residential electrification initiatives, including PG&E’s Empower My Home program, by conducting targeted outreach that connects eligible Bayview residents with free home energy upgrades and resources designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce utility costs.

Through community events, multilingual outreach, stakeholder engagement, and direct communication, JBR helps bridge the gap between public programs and the communities they serve—ensuring residents have the information and resources needed to participate in the transition to a cleaner energy future.

 

Since launching our EV outreach efforts, JBR Partners has supported three community EV Ride & Drive events in Bayview.

The first event featured an EV Ride & Drive alongside a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the installation of new EVgo fast chargers at the Bayview Plaza. Mayor Daniel Lurie joined City officials, community leaders, and project partners to commemorate the new charging stations and deliver remarks on the importance of expanding EV infrastructure.

The second event combined a community Christmas tree giveaway with EV test drives, creating an opportunity for residents to celebrate the holiday season while learning about electric vehicles and available incentives. This event was also attended by Mayor Lurie, who stopped by to meet with attendees and support the event.

Most recently, on June 27, 2026, JBR partnered with Charge Across Town again to host another EV Test Drive Event in the Bayview Plaza.

Through continued outreach and community engagement, JBR helps expand access to clean transportation while encouraging EV adoption within the Bayview community.

In partnership with the PG&E Empower My Home Program and Street Level Strategy, JBR Partners has hosted a series of community events, bringing together residents and program representatives to increase awareness of residential electrification opportunities.

As part of the Empower My Home program, Empower Bayview brings residential electrification resources directly to the Bayview community through neighborhood-based outreach, workshops, and local events, making it easier for eligible residents to learn about and access free home energy upgrades.

How the Program Works
  1. Residents attend a community workshop or check eligibility online
  2. Eligible households complete a home energy assessment
  3. A customized upgrade plan is developed
